Sara,
Nuts would be simple and easy, mixing a trail mix with a variety of nuts, raisins, chocolate chips is even more tempting. I suppose cheese would get too warm... Even healthier cookies like coconut macaroons with honey would be great. I love potato salad with homemade mayo, which can sit out for a while esp. if you lacto-ferment the mayo.

My Healthy Snacks to Go book has lots of other ideas! :) Katie

Ok, me again.

Had to randomly find a place to post this question. I guess I could of emailed or tweeted you? Whatever. Here it is:

At my church, we have an all-night First Fridays prayer vigil that lasts literally, all night. The priest is a young one(God bless him) and many people show up starting at 7pm and ending at the morning Mass Saturday morning.

We are encouraged to bring food to leave in the vestebule so that people can refuel their bodies during the night. Any suggestions on great snacks to bring? Or a great finger-food? Any ideas are appreciated. I wanted a real food alternative to the cookies and cupcakes I totally and wanting to make. They sound yummy but those prayer warriors will be crashing at 2am!

Thank you, Katie!

The Lord truly cares about our daily lives!

I have asked Him to show me the best deals at the grocery and I walk away with the best food, for the best price!

As a parent, it pleases me for my children to do well and be blessed. Our Heavenly Father is a much better parent than I am, so He rejoices in helping us!
