Natural Cleaning Hodgepodge

May 1st, 2009 · 1 Comment · Do It Yourself, Uncategorized

I’ve been looking for a safer alternative (for earth and health) for dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent — that work – for a while now.  I’m excited to read about soapnuts…they seem to do it all.  I don’t know much about them, but there’s a giveaway here that I’m going to enter.  Free is a great way to try something!

Also, I’m testing out a new homemade dishwasher detergent recipe tonight for the first time.  It took me some time to gather all the ingredients.  You can find it here and read about my dishwasher attempts and Baby Steps to going greener at my Use Your Dishwasher Wisely Monday Mission.

I’ll post again when I’ve decided success or failure!

If I win the apron at this giveaway, maybe I can do less laundry anyway…  :)

And while I’m cleaning, maybe my son can be working on a preschool activity bag from this giveaway
