I greatly identify with your quest for consciousness...it's why I abhor drunkenness. If I drink alcohol, it's only because I like the taste of the beverage. I do not want to diminish or alter my consciousness with alcohol or any other drug. On the flip side, I really should pray more, especially that the Holy Spirit would help increase and sharpen my consciousness.
