Giveaway: Organic Mamas Nursing Bracelet

August 4th, 2009 · 42 Comments · Uncategorized

nursing-braceletMy friend Shannon’s bracelets are absolutely darling/gorgeous/stylish, whatever your mood.  I never had something like this with my first child, but it would have helped a LOT as I navigated the world of nursing.  Breastmilk is the perfect, God-given food, perfectly natural…but not always perfectly easy.  These bracelets help you remember which side you nursed last AND what time baby had a meal.  If you don’t have a baby or one coming, I would highly recommend adding one of these to your “gift box” for the next baby shower.  You’d get kudos for the most creative gift for sure!  (Unless you want to grab some Bugaloos, which I’m still in love with and Lovey Girl has moved into her 12-18 month size.)

Here’s what the jewelry maker has to say to explain her product:

The bracelet’s beads work like a clock. The number beads 1-12 represent the hours of the day. There are 3 beads separating each number and the spaces between the beads represent each 15 minute increment. You simply clip the moveable charm in the spot to mark the time you last fed your little one.  Also, the memory wire enables you to easily slip it from one wrist to the other to help you remember which side to begin nursing on next time.  It’s a must have for new moms, but it’s also useful for so many other things…
