So sorry your comment went unanswered for so long! Yikes! I could have sworn I typed this answer...maybe I just thought it? 

Anyway, yogurt from the store would incubate between 90-110F, so unless you live in a very warm climate, you&#039;d need a special culture for countertop yogurt.
