I think I can do that while my kids are little, but as they get older I think buying the remaining candy sounds like a good idea! To get rid of the sugar fast, have Mr. Bones come Halloween night. He takes the candy and leaves a treat (toy, dvd, book, etc.). I let the kids know he's coming and last year my DD asked to keep 3 pieces. I am good with that!
