You may wonder what goes on behind the scenes here at Kitchen Stewardship, especially if you’ve been reading me for a while.
My reason for blogging can be found in my About page and more in depth at this post, but there’s a lot more to blogging than just motivation and writing.
I sat down after hitting my 6-month anniversary of writing a blog and thought about the myriad of lessons I’ve learned and the veritable new language I had to pick up to have success in the blogging world. You can read my thoughts at Problogger today in a guest post called Rookie Lessons for New Bloggers.
My gratitude to Darren Rowse for accepting my random guest post pitch and allowing me to flesh it out as I wanted!

Hi, came over from Problogger. Great article! Your little suggestion to use the @ website in the comment name field is a jewel that I missed.
You have a lot more nuggets that even this “veteran” blogger hadn’t found.

Hye, Katie.
Yes, I do read your post at Problogger.net.
It’s a very long blogging story and what your opinion about blogging is. I am very impress. Actually, I’m still new in blogging but I believe other’s experience is very meaningful to make sure I’ll get a real way to become success in blogging and avoiding me from do a mistake that other people ever did.
By the way, your article also make me feel quite careful to write my comment for you because you do have a “great post” there.
Great job, Katie.
