Mrs. M.,
LOL! You put it so perfectly. There must be a kid-clock that does that, because mine are the same way!

I understand about mornings, I guess you just do whatever the biggest priority is in the morning! Homeschooling & work would count as that! I wonder how my routine will change once I have school aged kids (we will homeschool too)

I should try this. My sink plug slowly lets water out, so maybe I should invest in a new one! Good idea!

I do a bunch of these! Re-using dishes (love to cook bacon first, then eggs!), washing or loading/unloading dishwasher while I'm cooking, doing once-a-week cooking (all meals and snacks except dinners are generally done on Sundays), starting early in the day, etc. It does save time and energy and I'm trying so hard to keep it together in the kitchen. Thanks for additional tips!

Great tips from Cara! I always try to clean as I go along in the kitchen (my husband is the opposite), but sometimes it doesn't happen. I also make it a point to rinse all my dishes as much as possible if I know they are going to be sitting around awhile so the food doesn't get stuck onto them. I'm still working on time accounting and having a day for everything.

Morning planning for meals also goes out the window most days since I am home-schooling my son and working on my blog and Internet related-stuff during the morning hours. By the time noon rolls around, I still haven't gotten lunch going yet and I haven't showered either. I need to work on this! This article is a great motivator for me. :)
