Carrie, I have had steak tartar (never made it, though). It was on my list of things I want to have someday and while on vacation in Charleston this past summer, my husband and I were at a fancy restaurant that served it. I started to chicken out and not order it, but my husband convinced me and I’m so glad he did. It was delicious!!!

I am NOT getting tired of this series!!! And I think this one is my favorite so far. The $20 question was rocked by both and had me cheering!!!
I love this series and am learning so much–and the rising number of blogs I am following is a direct result of it! Looking forward to the rest of this series.

I was thinking of changing my answer for the $20 week… one $18 gallon of raw milk and a carton of organic blueberries. So maybe it’s a bit limited, but it sounds yummy, no?

This was so encouraging to me. I am battling some really unbalanced hormones (hair falling out, acne, mood swings, crazy pms) and was just starting to lose hope. I have been following the Nourishing Traditions way of eating for 6 months, and was just starting to lose hope.

What do you think the proper balance of grains/meat/dairy/fats/veggies etc should be? What would the WAPF food pyramid look like?

I neglected to mention that I also had some ovarian cysts that have totally been resolved through the diet changes!
