I’m Featured at Progressive Pioneer Today!

image Whether you’re a new reader or an old friend who just wants to hear about my thoughts, check out my interview at Progressive Pioneer.  I dish on how I got started here, my best baby steps hints and connecting food and faith.  Thanks for featuring me, Amy!

I am recently acquainted with Amy via Simple Organic, where we are both honored to be contributors.  Her “Progressive Pioneer” philosophy is just lovely: “When all the world is turning to the latest gadget, the latest expert advice, the latest health fad, we can pioneer the way back to our roots, back to simplicity.”  I’ve been enjoying poking around her site!  While you’re there, Amy also has a fabulous Etsy store giveaway running that I couldn’t help but jump in!

In Other News…
  • Have you seen the newly updated Recipes page?  It’s much more organized than it used to be.  I’m hoping to revamp the top menu bar completely for ease of use, too.  What do you think should be up there that isn’t, and what needs to be cut?  I want simple jumping off points for new readers and have some ideas on how to organize my pivotal posts.  (Dear God, could you slide an extra day in between Monday and Tuesday?  You don’t have to tell anyone but me.  I promise I’ll make really good use of it!)
  • Did I gross you out too much with my bacteria photos in today’s Monday Mission?  If you’re ready to knock out the germs without harmful side effects, be sure to check out all the participants in the Spring Cleaning: Get the Junk Out! Carnival going live later tonight!  There’s a giveaway attached too…
  • I’m starting to look for private advertising so I can clean up my sidebar and (hopefully) make things load more quickly.  If you have a small business or know of one that would be a good fit for Kitchen Stewardship, please contact me at kitchenstew (at) gmail (dot) com for details!
  • Be sure to read KS Wednesday.  Just trust me on this one.  You’ll want to sign up for a free email subscription or grab my reader feed before then. I can hardly wait to tell you the news!!!
