My husband has always had sleeves for cycling — they are an insulating layer, not a sun protective one though. I think these would be great for our family for canoe trips — it’s hard to put on or take off a long sleeve shirt as needed when you’re also dealing with a paddle & a PFD/Lifejacket. Plus, since we have to pack all our gear & carry it over portages, anything light & small is a positive choice!

I agree that these would be great for the car. All that sun exposure adds up over the years. I’ve been wanting to get something like that for a long time, but have never yet shelled out the dough!

This would be great for when you are driving and the sun is hitting your arm. In the summer I tend to cover that part of my arm with a towel.
