I like to be a humble bumble, but I’m also terribly competitive. Really, quite terribly competitive.

I’ve never worried much about all those blog awards that other people get, other than to wonder how they get discovered and grumble for 10 seconds that I don’t have a clue how it all works.

I was really honored to get an email telling me that someone who loves me had nominated me for the Babble’s Reader’s Choice Best Mom Food Blog award. Now that I’m on the list, I hope I’m not asking too much by begging (pleading with?) you to pop over right HERE and click "I like it". There’s no registration, so it really is that quick. Right now Kitchen Stewardship is at number 8, but I have a way to go to top number one…some skinny low-fat recipes that I’d love to upend in the name of real food! Winking smile

Will you help? Thank you SOOOOOO much for your vote of confidence!

Soaked Grain eBook in Final Stages

Today’s goal is to get through reading the last half of the new FREE eBook, Is Your Flour Wet? Soaked, Sprouted and Soured: Grains Recipes from Our Kitchens to Yours and make it available to you. It’s got over 80 pages of awesome resources! Watch for it soon…

Are you ready for summer? My light-skinned family all got pink burns on Saturday at the park, which reminded me to find our favorite all natural sunscreen – I reviewed 28 of them last summer, so that’s a great resource to help you make your purchasing decisions! I also did some sun protection reviews for when you need to be all day at the beach and sunblock just doesn’t cut it.
