We’re entering cold and flu season when many people start thinking about natural remedies, but we’re also heading into a time when it’s often tempting to overeat, eat junk food, and fall off the healthy diet wagon, big time.
Those choices can lead to a few digestive discomforts any time of year. (photo source)
Trilight Health, a company I’ve been working with for a long time, is offering a bottle of Tummy Plus to one lucky winner today. Here’s what Tummy Plus may help you with:
Tummy Plus is another former Cherokee Heritage formula passed on to us by Medicine Bear, son of a Cherokee Medicine Man. This strong, yet soothing herbal combination supports digestive function during times of colic, stomach ache, indigestion, heartburn or intestinal gas.
I really like having it on hand for those times when children say, “I have a
tummy ache,” and you’re not sure the origin. Along with a rest on the couch, a half teaspoon of Tummy Plus seems to do the trick.
Trilight uses a special 3-stage process with low heat, low pressure, to make their herbal tinctures, and they take great care to only use the highest quality ingredients. Here’s what’s in Tummy Plus:
Ingredients: *Peppermint,*Catnip, Fennel,*Marshmallow, Oregon Grape Root, Licorice Root and *Ginger in a base of Kosher Vegetable Glycerine and Reverse Osmosis Water.
* Ingredients are Certified Organic.
Tummy Plus is fast-acting and the reviewers all agree that it tastes great, which can be a real help with young children as I’m sure you know.
The 8-ounce bottle up for grabs today has a $39.95 value and should last a long time! (My favorite product, Lympha Rub, also lasts forever and is being offered FREE just for signing up for Trilight’s newsletter!)
For more information on natural remedies for tummy troubles, watch the blog tomorrow when I discuss the BRATY diet and if it’s compatible with a traditional, real foods lifestyle.

Christy,
Rafflecopter was acting up yesterday but seems to be better now – do let me know if it continues to short out and I’ll provide a different means of entry. Thanks! Katie

Me, too. I subscribe and Rafflecopter isn’t working for me either. I would love to try this. I don’t have a go-to tummy thing and this sounds great.

When we get tummy aches I usually do a soothing tea and possibly a little Sprite. Then a nice bowl of tomato soup.

My son is 14 and always has a stomach ache upon waking up in the morning. He had his appendix out last year on his 13th birthday, but he continues to have the stomach aches.

The raffle copter link isn’t working and the date is last week. Someone indicated that the problem had been resolved, but it’s still not working for me.

Corry,
Katie
It seems to be back up today, but if I hear that it continues to be intermittent, I’ll provide an alternative means of entry. I just caught that date this morning, sheesh! The real end date is Oct. 29th. Thanks!
