Black Friday 2012 Natural Living and eBook Sales

November 23rd, 2012 · No Comments · Uncategorized

I’m not going anywhere today but to my kitchen.

I might even stay in sweatpants until noon.

But I did a little shopping last night while the kids were sleeping and have some shopping carts to empty and pay for sometime today. I just won’t have to wait in any lines to do it. Dr. Seuss' The Lorax

I’ve been there before – in that line at Best Buy at 4 in the morning, even at some computer store at midnight on the way home from family Thanksgiving with a 6-month-old in a sling.

As I mentioned in my gift guide, I just don’t like shopping.

For the record, I don’t actually enjoy doing it online either, but like most American elections, I choose the lesser of two evils.

If you’re itching to get some good deals without leaving the comfy computer chair you’re sitting in – or perhaps you’re standing in line shopping and doing some online shopping on your phone! Wow, that would be brilliant! – allow me to help you navigate some sales within the natural living niche.

Special Everything Beans Buy

Since Smart Sweets and Healthy Snacks to Go are featured in the Healthy Living eBook sale, coming back on Monday for 48 hours only, I felt like the beans book was kind of left out. Here’s your consolation deal:

eBook Bundle Sale Returns with More Bonuses!

healthy living bundle AD

I’m seriously considering buying this package just to take advantage of the bonuses, even though I have all the eBooks already! I wouldn’t be surprised if some folks who purchased the first time around buy it again and give the books away once they get their freebies.

madeon givedryskinapresentADFor $29 on Monday and Tuesday only, you’ll be able to get 34 eBooks for 87 cents each, plus $60 in free real food goods from Redmond Clay, Real Salt and Earthpaste; MadeOn Hard Lotion, Cultures for Health and Wise Choice Market, where they have stupendous real organic bone broth, fermented vegetables, and sprouted grain breads.

If you’re doing the math, that’s double the value in free stuff as you spend on the whole package. Crazy deal.

Read about all the eBooks involved and what I love about them HERE. I’ll also be sharing more about the authors and resources on Twitter, Facebook, and the blog on Monday and Tuesday.

Speaking of Redmond, all their products, from Real Salt to Earthpaste, are onredmond-clay sale for 15% off all day for Black Friday – use the code R3DM0ND (that "zero" might be an "O" in the code; I can’t be sure) at the online store.

MadeOn has free shipping on anything today, no code required! I already have some pocket lotions and lip balms on hand for teacher and friend gifts, but I’d better make sure I have enough…

Meal Planning Helps

EMeals is offering 30% off with the discount code CYBER. EMeals actually sends you meal plans with grocery lists and recipes, and they have a theme called "Clean Eating" that I previewed (but haven’t had a chance to try actual recipes yet) and it looks pretty good, pretty whole foods.

They just launched their Paleo meal plans, which are hard to find! If you’re starting the Paleo diet, now may be the time to give EMeals a try and see what you can learn about that style of diet.

Plan to Eat subscriptions are 50% off this weekend – PTE is totally different from a subscription like emeals, because PTE is the software that runs your meal planning, but you choose all your own recipes and plug them in, then  you get a shopping list, pantry supply list, and week’s meal plan.

Which one is right for you? How Type A are you?…

Random Stuff

Blendtec has a Black Friday special with $45 off the Designer Series through 12/7. The coupon code is DESIGNER and it is case sensitive.

All You and Cooking Light magazine – only $1 an issue for 6 months, ends Nov 30th – magazines are often great gifts!

The Lorax Movie is on sale at Amazon for a ridiculous $3.99. Seriously. I have to find $21.01 more to spend so I can get the free shipping. My son thinks this movie rocks (and I do, too) after we got to see it and write a Lorax Movie review last spring.
