cover collage 2013 fall sale Did you miss the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle the first time it came around?

We’ve heard from so many people who were disappointed they missed out a few weeks ago, that we’re happy to announce the Encore Flash Sale for Black Friday weekend only!

Erin Odom of The Humbled Homemaker and Stephanie Langford of Keeper of the Home organized this bundle sale as their new company, Ultimate Bundles. They are true professionals and continually come up with more and better additions to their bundles, making them a better and better value every time. Amazing!

Here’s the deal:

  • 86 eBooks and eCourses
  • 12 weeks of mentorship conference calls and private Facebook groups
  • 9 bonus items worth over $150
  • over $1000 total value
  • 97% off
  • Your cost: $29.97 (25% goes to one of 4 charities, below)
  • AND you can even buy two more at 50% off each, ultimately getting 3 for the price of two!

There are books to help you eat well and plan for all 2500 meals this year, books to help you cloth diaper and potty train, plenty of gluten-free and no-white-sugar books, especially desserts as we head into holiday party time, questions to help you find a natural dentist, strategies for a simple Christmas and plenty of recipes for DIY natural cleaning and body products to help keep some of those 75,000 chemicals out of your homes.

My Favorite Parts

You know what’s funny? This is an eBook bundle, and the eBooks have become secondary in my mind because there are so many cool features going on! Here’s what I love:

  • NEW coffee table conversations – interactive calls with small groups of authors plus a private Facebook group for a week – I can’t wait to feel in touch with you guys!
  • The bonus items can’t be beat – for the price of shipping, you get actual goods right at your door, not just coupons or e-products. This feature puts this bundle sale WAY above and beyond any others.
  • Ability to give gifts directly to others with a personal note
  • Buy one bundle, get two for half off as gifts (Wow!)
  • GNOWFGLINS eCourse is a bonus for all customers at a ridiculous deal – 82% off a full year at the premium level plus 12 bonus videos (usually $10 each) from the archives. If you’ve been wondering about traditional real food cooking video courses and holding off, THIS if the time to do it! I teach a few sourdough lessons and homemade yogurt and also hosted a few of the thank you videos. Enjoy!
  • it IS okay to “break up” the bundle and give single books away to friends and family, as long as you treat each book as one book, and once you’ve shared it, it’s gone from your computer

If you didn’t want a single eBook, I’m telling you – this package is still worth buying.

From the Bundle Team

Providing you with fabulously useful eBook resources is what we, the team behind Ultimate Bundles, are all about. This year we decided to throw caution to the wind and make the package more of a no-brainer than ever before.

What’s in the Bundle?

Believe me, it’s as big as this image looks, and bigger! This bundle includes not only eBooks, not only e-products, but REAL physical bonus products that come to your door plus an online conference next January after the craziness of the holidays allows you to settle down and think about healthy living a bit more.
Check out the three components:
Get EducatedWe took 86 eBooks (plus 1 eCourse) by popular bloggers on topics like real food & recipes, green living, natural cleaning and beauty, mental and emotional health, fitness, herbal remedies and more.
Get MentoredThen we added the brand new “Coffee Table Conversations,” a 12-week series of author mentorship through interactive online conference calls and private support groups.
Get EquippedWe finished it off with 9 bonus sponsors offering you $150+ of incredible products and services to help you along your way. This includes bonuses like $25.98 of FREE eco-friendly laundry detergent from Dizolve (because we all need clean clothes). This bonus nearly makes up for the entire cost of the bundle!

How Much Does the Bundle Cost?

Ultimate: Maximum; decisive; conclusive. The best or most extreme of its kind.

We wouldn’t call it the “ultimate” bundle if it wasn’t true. As our hard-working team pulled together the Ultimate Healthy Living 2013 Bundle Sale, we had 3 basic goals: to put a comprehensive health library at your fingertips, to offer something for everyone, and to provide so much value for an itty-bitty price that it would be irresistible.

In a nutshell? This bundle is brimming with more than 80 ebook and ecourse resources, from authors and bloggers known as authorities in their fields. For less than $30, you can pick up your own bundle complete with more than $800 of ebooks, $67 of interactive “coffee table conversations” with their authors, and $158 of products and services to help you on your way toward healthier living. That’s over a $1,000 value!

Additionally, 25% of this flash sale’s proceeds go to a few of our favorite non-profit organizationsShelter Box (specifically for Philippines relief aid), Compassion International, Hope for Women, and Love146.

But you don’t want to wait! This bundle is available for only 4 days, from 8 a.m. (EST) on Friday, November 29 to 11:59pm (EST) on Monday, December 2. After this time, this bundle will never be available for purchase again.

Get yours now for just $29.97!

(Psst… did you know that you can add on two extra bundles for the price of one? Just choose the bonus 2-for-1 option during checkout!)

Click HERE to jump to the books, but the list is so long, and I wanted you all to see what I think are the two best features of the sale – the coffee table conversations and the bonus products.

What are Coffee Table Conversations? ($67 value)

For 12 weeks starting in January 2014, we’ll offer a series of weekly one-hour live conference calls, where you can join in and ask your questions on relevant and timely healthy living topics to a panel of eBook authors.

We’ll look at issues like allergy-friendly cooking, fighting fatigue (and finding energy!), eating well on a tight budget, an introduction to alternative health and herbal remedies, and tips and tricks for making real food in less time. (I’m in week 5 discussing “Eating Slow Food in a Fast Food World” with Kelly McNelis, author of Easy Healthy Slow Cooker Recipes and 15- Minute Freezer Recipes, and Kristy Howard, the Cottage Mama in the meal planning section. I LOVE that topic, don’t you? I can’t wait to get a chance to really connect with readers one-on-one, since that can be hard to do in this huge forum on a daily basis.)

As an attendee, you’ll be able to listen to authors converse with each other on any (or all) of the 12 calls that you choose to take part in, and get answers to your questions in real time!

But don’t worry, you don’t have to attend live. They’ll be available for download so you can listen to something interesting while running, driving, or cleaning your house.

We’ll also provide a private Facebook group, where that week’s “mentors” will pop in as often as they can and chat with you on the topics at hand. Talk about up-close and personal learning!

Real Food Cookbooks

Katie’s Comments: This is of course the best category, because Better Than a Box is in there! Winking smile Almost all of these books are very much traditional real foods (yay!) and the few that aren’t are easy substitutions (coconut oil for canola, whole milk for skim, etc.).

I’m not even sure where to begin on this list because they’re all such good books! If you have or want a dehydrator, Dehydrating is probably the best book you could possible get to know how to dehydrate everything traditional. I made a coconut milk pumpkin pie ice cream from Simple. Healthy. Tasty. in 7 minutes, including the time it took to clean up the glop of coconut milk I shot onto the floor. And it was tasty!!

High Protein, No Powder is a wonderful new book from a member of my own KS team, Tiffany of Don’t Waste the Crumbs. We’ve been testing out smoothies for a few weeks and have enjoyed each one of them, and I think you’ll love the many bar variations for being out on the go with family life.

The Breakfast Revolution is also brand new and gorgeous and yummy, and Diana’s cookie book is a must-have for the holidays (whole grain, unrefined sugars!).

You could make every recipe in Much Ado About Chicken and Fresh: Nourishing Salads for All Seasons and never be bored with dinner, and also never have to make a real food substitution. This category alone, even if you only bought the books I mentioned here, more than doubles the value of the purchase price of the bundle. And we’re just getting started…

Allergy-Friendly/Special Diets

Katie’s Comments: I printed more recipes from this section than the first one because I saw so many interesting gluten-free things I wanted to try! Reading Ricki Heller’s opening pages was so fascinating, the story of her discovering her candida, how to fight it, and a new love for baking and teaching it to others. She’s so great! Her book uses a lot of spelt, so if you need to be wheat-free but not gluten-free or have always wished for ways to use spelt properly, this book is a must-have, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I’ll let you know how my recipes go on Facebook as I try them in my menu plan this week!

Natural Health

Katie’s Comments: I’ve barely dipped into this section, but the wealth of info on essential oil is awesome, and Common Sense Health is a book I’ve had for a while and gained a lot of knowledge and information from.

Healthy Lifestyle

Katie’s comments: This section has some true winners. 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life is one I’ve had on Kindle forever now and never read, but I have friends who say it was life-changing. I’m starting today. Or maybe tomorrow. Winking smile

I did start reading The UnWired Mom already, and I have to stop or I might start crying. I can’t believe how similar Sarah Mae’s struggles with computer time vs. mommy-ing time mirror mine. Praise be to God that this book was put in front of me so I have to read it! A cool benefit of buying a big bundle like this: you might end up with a book you NEVER would have bought on your own and find a truly pleasant surprise!

We worked through One Bite at a Time from Simple Mom last year, one week at a time on Facebook. It’s a pretty awesome collection of really good challenges (one of the chapters is even mine, on making things from scratch). I highly recommend it!

I love Lisa at WellGrounded Life, her stuff is amazing, and Jessica from Life as MOM has a beautiful book in A Simpler Season. Let her make Christmas more meaningful and less stressful for you.

Katie’s Comments: I am such a brown thumb, but maybe some of these gardening resources will help me out next summer. I always try a garden, and sometimes get to pick a few edible things. Winking smile I just checked out Growing and Using Culinary Herbs to see if I could get tips on herb pots inside for the winter, and what impresses me the most is that I think the author is only a teenager (and, um, she knows way more about gardening than I do). Winking smile What a joy to share her work with you!

From Garbage to Gourmet has been one of my favorite eBooks all this year. It teaches how to use everything so you have no excuse to waste food (like the 5 feta muffins I threw away last night because I meant to refrigerate them after 2 days, but Tuesday turned into Saturday really quickly and they molded. I hate that!!) We have a few recipes the book that reappear in our menu plans (but I’ve forgotten them recently; time to bust that book back out!) and I found it so helpful in the summer to avoid wasting fresh herbs and market veggies that threatened to get slimy on me. At $10, this book is a third of your bundle price – and worth every penny! (Here’s my review of the book when it came out last spring.)

Green Living

Katie’s Comments: I’m big on comparing. When I look for a new recipe, I open 20 Internet tabs. I tend to fall into the black hole of the web, and an hour after my Google search I come up for air with a half-formed recipe that still needs tweaking.

Ugh! I love that I’ll have a couple DIY homemade cleaner books at my fingertips, two of which are definitely from natural gals who won’t steer me wrong. I can look up what I need in 3 places, do a quick comparison, and be done without risking falling into the computer on accident.

Stacy Karen’s book even goes into plants that clean the air for you, which reminds me (again) that I desperately want to get a few English ivy and spider plants. I just hate shopping… Winking smile

And Kresha had just the furniture polish I’ve been looking for – I read her “dusting spray and wood polish” and thought, “Oh, dear, far too many ingredients and two I don’t even have!” and then the very next page had the “lazy version.” Perfect. Smile If you’ve been on the “green” journey for a while, Green Your Life and Accidentally Green might not help you much, but they’re the perfect gifts to break off from your bundle and pass on to people in your life who are just getting started. I’ve known Emily McClements for a long time and am so proud that she finished her first eBook!

Special Health Concerns

Katie’s Comments: If you followed my own story of candida last year, you’ll know I had an…um…interesting(?) or perhaps horrid experience that brought the fact that I have a candida overgrowth to light. I know that someday I should do a good candida diet/cleanse, but I haven’t yet. Healing Candida with Food is a beautifully laid out book and it details everything I’m going to need to know (I didn’t even realize there were stages of the diet – every recipe adapts for each stage in this book).

Paula’s own story, like reading Ricki’s above, hits me as a kindred spirit. All the real food bloggers are awesome!! I’m selectively ignoring Donielle‘s Sugar Detox Challenge book until January when the fun is all over. Winking smile Maybe I can do my candida diet right along with the detox challenge. Donielle is so knowledgeable, and she’s actually a very good friend of mine in real life after we met via blogging. I always know that I can ask her questions about sugar and hormones and stuff and she’s got the research-based answer ready to go.

This whole section may be one that won’t apply to everyone, but I’m willing to bet that just about everyone knows someone who could benefit from each of the books. I would encourage you to pass on books you won’t be using; just delete them from your computer and give them to one person and you’re golden.

Healthy Kids & Babies

Katie’s Comments: I didn’t really want to get into this section, thinking I didn’t have time…but now I’ve skimmed through the potty training book (SO need this one right now! I might print the whole thing.) and Love Your Mayhem, one of those reads that just makes you feel “not alone,” and Adventures with Kids! In the Kitchen which inspires me afresh to KEEP getting my kids in the kitchen. Arg, they’ve known the same old skills for wayyyy too long. Time to step up for the older two and spend more time watching Mommy for the youngest.

Confessions of a Cloth Diaper Convert already has my vote for the best CDing book on the web. It answered questions I was left hanging with after reading other cloth books and doing Google searches, so I think it’s invaluable to anyone wanting to start with cloth diapers.

And Jami’s Warning: I Throw Food is the homemade baby food book I always wanted to write – as a new mom of twin boys, she’s had plenty of real life experience with the testing committee. Her foundations rock: Breastmilk or homemade formula until at least 6 months, holding off on grains, focusing on healthy fats and organics, and quoting Dr. Sears and Nourishing Traditions. I got lots of the freebies, and have really enjoyed them, especially my soap and body oil from jenuinely pure. I have read a couple of the essential oil books so far and found some good info in those.

Is the GNOWFGLINS discount being offered as well during this sale? I looked for it, but may have missed where you sign up for it?
