…and it hasn’t even started yet!
We’re focusing fairly well on celebrating Advent this year (perhaps because we haven’t had time to make to-do lists for Christmas yet, but let’s pretend it’s intentional), but in general, people don’t want to read about much other than the season at hand.
I hope I don’t sound too Grinchy in my Green Your Way article this month – I could not for the life of me think of anything new to say about celebrating Christmas in an eco-friendly way, so I created a round-up of all the stuff I’ve already said, like what to do with Christmas cards come January, the debate on what kind of tree is a better choice, eco-friendly wrapping entertaining, gifts and more. Phew!
You can check out all the Grinch-y, Christmas-y info right HERE.
And if you’re feeling a little like me and want something different, I also included a few of my most popular posts and some that are most fitting for winter, like home remedies for colds and what to do about the flame retardant that comes with all the warm, cuddly PJs people are buying for your kids right now.

Big Thanks to my Sponsors!
I’m not sure how much I’ll be posting after this week, so I want to take a chance to thank all my December sponsors here at KS. They make it so that you get a ton of content, recipes, research, and opinions for free, so please consider them for some of your Christmas shopping (maybe the kind you get to do for YOU after the fact if people get you moolah in your stocking!).
I’ve been working with Mighty Nest for halfway to forever and am building up quite a stash of their stuff! Love their commitment to quality and safety. They have a super great coupon exclusive for bloggers they are working with (readers, actually!). Click HERE for all the details, but basically you can get $15 off of $75, $35 off $150, or $75 off $300!
A Squooshi would make a great stocking stuffer! I’ve heard from a number of readers that they’re enjoying their Squooshis immensely, and my kids just love them. Fill with any soft food, like smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, or this grain-free breakfast porridge and you’ve got food on the run!
Molly’s Suds is a natural laundry detergent that is simple to use, non-toxic, and works plenty well enough for our family of five. More on how we like it at my Molly’s Suds review. Thanks to the team over there for joining our team at KS to help me help you keep natural living doable! Use the code KITCHEN for 15% off.
TriLight Health produces herbal supplements using a special cold-tincture method and lots of traditional recipes. They truly seem to have something for anything that ails you. We use the immunity boosters regularly and have all sorts on hand for issues: Lympha Rub for coughs, Tummy Plus, Propolis for removing warts naturally, sore throats and more. See this post for more on our thoughts on the company.
Plan to Eat
I’ve also been working with Plan to Eat forever, and TONS of KS readers are members. You can see over 90,000 real food recipes now in the KS group, which you can pop into your menu plans without having to worry about the setup of getting good recipes into a new menu planning system. I love the PTE just added a new "cooking view" feature so you don’t have to touch your screen in the kitchen – it puts all the info you need to make the recipe on one screen (no scrolling) and suppresses the screen saver. Nice! Try their 30-day free trial (maybe in January when life is back to normal?).
Three of our sponsors are participating in tomorrow’s big Healthy Breakfast Inspiration Facebook Party with great giveaways – you’re signed up to come, right? We’ll share tons of great info and recipes, and the giveaways will be open the next day, too, in case you can’t make it live.
See you there!!
