Prayers

For Catholics and non-Catholics alike, here are the texts to prayers referenced at Kitchen Stewardship:

Our Father

Our Father
Who art in Heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our tresspasses,
as we forgive those who tresspass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.  Amen.

Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

Glory Be

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen.

Chaplet of Divine Mercy

Our Father

Hail Mary

Apostles’ Creed

On each large Rosary bead:  Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins, and those of the whole world.

On each small bead (10 times in a row):  For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us, and on the whole world.

After the 10:  Jesus, I trust in you.

Then start over with “Eternal Father…” and repeat 5 times total to get around the Rosary beads.  At the very end, pray three times:

Holy God, Holy mighty One, Holy immortal One, have mercy on us, and on the whole world.

Amen!
