Welcome to “Woman’s Call to Vocation”, a women’s study based on Scripture, Catechism and Church Writings. This study was written for use in April/May 2009 by the Mother’s Bible Study at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
You are welcome to use the study for personal or small group use, but please do not publish or otherwise earn money from this work.
I encourage you to print each session so you can read it anywhere and bring it along on Wednesday morning. My apologies that there isn’t space for answers…the nature of web publishing doesn’t make that part easy to do. The best way to print would be to copy the text into a Word or other text document (then you can add your own space for replies, too).
Week One: Call to Sacrifice
Week Two: Vocation of Wife
Week Three: Vocation of Mother
Week Four: Discipline of Children
Week Five: Vocation of the Home

Hello Katie,
Thank you for posting this study. I have scanned through the first two weeks. They look great. I’m hoping to use this with a Catholic mothers’ group I attend.
I found your blog through your guest article on Problogger. I’m in the process of launching a cooking blog of my own. I love how you have approached your blog and am looking forward to spending some time here.
Regards,
Leah

Leah,
Welcome! I’m happy that another moms’ group can use the study; someday I’ll dust it off and use it again, too.
Best of luck with your blog – there’s so much to learn, but it’s a blast!
Katie
