As a blogger, I get an awful lot of fun boxes on my porch with review products in them.
I’m not going to lie – that’s super duper fun. The risk-free nature of trying something you didn’t have to pay for is right up my alley…because man, oh mister, I really, really despise paying for something and then disliking it.
I think that frugal bug in me, and the one who doesn’t like standing in the return line or mailing back a dud, helps inspire me to do the most thorough product reviews I can muster. I want to help you all purchase only products that will totally work for you.
Today, I get to rally a team to help.
Want to try something for free and then tell others about it? It’s what we women do anyway (although I’m sure men do the same; they’re just not as well-known for gabbing a lot)…telling our friends what works and what doesn’t, what we like and don’t like.
Trilight Health is partnering with KS this week and giving away TEN full-sized bottles of their herbal remedies. They’ve got a new “Health Concerns” page that will help you pinpoint exactly what formula will suit your needs, and it is truly the bomb. Take it for a spin and see what piques your interest, and if you enter the contest you could get a chance to review the product of your choice here at KS in about 6 weeks.
I’ve been using Trilight Health products for about a year now, and although health products, specifically those that boost immunities, are notoriously difficult to review, we have a couple success stories that are black and white.
Lympha Rub – we call it “magic drops.” This little bottle has ceased nighttime coughing on both kids and even ME with one drop at the back of the throat. Every time, without fail. It smells good as a rub (its first intended purpose, like Vick’s) but it is bulletproof as a magic drop.
Propolis – bee jelly. I tried it because it seemed to do LOTS of things and only uses a few drops at a time instead the the typical 1/4 teaspoon per 25 pounds that many formulas require. My kids have taken it a few times as colds were coming on (they never got the cold) and like it off the spoon. I’ve been applying it to a wart that keep trying to grow, and it’s also been foiled. So far, even if they only thing it does is avoid a $35 dermatology appointment, I’m a fan!
Tummy Plus – who knows if it works; only my kids have taken it and the tummy aches might have been in their head…but it’s not a bad thing to have on hand for the placebo effect!
We’ve been using a combination of Scout Out and NR Glow to boost immunities all winter and have been extremely healthy as a family, but I’ll be the first to tell you that there could be a zillion causes for that.
What Are You Interested In?
From cuts and scrapes to multivitamins, from allergies to menopause, Trilight Health “has a formula for that.”
Peruse the new Health Concerns page and see what products your family might like most. Many formulas note directly on the page whether it’s safe for kids or pregnant women; if not, click on that category directly in the left sidebar to check. There are specific herbs for pregnancy issues like nausea and iron drops, and also things like the multivitamins and minerals that are safe for pregnancy, for example.
As you read about each product, you’ll often find helpful testimonial product reviews from customers, and I often rely on Lyle’s notes (the founder of the company) for alternate methods of use.
Where to Enter
This contest will be run through an outside program, much like many of my giveaways but a different interface. Comments on this post are NOT entries and do nothing for you!
You’ll be asked to choose up to three categories from the Health Concerns page, which will not open in a new window from the contest page, so you might want to open it here. Make sure you also choose the one product from your top choice that you MOST want to review. We’ll do our very best to give everyone their one top choice, but just to make sure we have variety, we’re asking for your second and third.
After about 6 weeks, look for an email from me asking your thoughts. I can’t force you to share a review, but it would be awfully nice for the whole KS community if those of you testing out a bottle would tell us what you think. Thanks!
