EWG Rating: N/A

Antioxidants added: Raspberry seed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, carrot seed, and more

Where to purchase: OrganiBlock Site

Ease of Application: OrganiBlock goes on really easily and rubs in smoothly. It could even be in the running for a daily SPF moisturizer for the face.

Scent: Has a very pleasant citrus and vanilla scent that most people have enjoyed.

Water Resistance: This is where OrganiBlock might not perform as well. So I would recommend it more for adults than busy, active families. My daughter definitely got too pink on the OrganiBlock side versus another sunscreen after time in the pool. Because we have tested OrganiBlock versus nothing at all, we know that it does offer protection from the sun, but perhaps it’s not as waterproof or maybe just not as strong as it claims to be.

My Experience: We tested OrganiBlock quite extensively; and although we all love putting it on, I would rate it guessed as an SPF 15 and no higher. Great for casual wear, but not for anything too intense like a day at the pool or the beach.

Star Feature: Clean ingredients and pleasant scent.

My Review: OrganiBlock has a lot going for it on paper, with great ingredients including non-nano zinc oxide. We were all impressed with how smoothly it went on, but it just didn’t hold up against a lot of other brands. I would not recommend this for busy families, but again, perhaps for adults who want something that goes on really smoothly and don’t need a very high SPF number.

Pros

  • Goes on smoothly
  • Very clean ingredients
  • Great scent

Cons

  • Does not stay on in water well
  • Allowed some burns
