Now that we have covered the basics of organic gardening and pest control, I thought it might be helpful to provide a how-to guide for different varieties of produce that you might want to plant. In the following links, I included the varieties of plants that grow best for us, and taste the best. There are some really delicious varieties of heirloom seeds that are available. We have tried many of them and now stick with our favorites. Also, I included tips about how to plant each and how to protect specific plants from bugs and diseases that are commonly seen.
· Onions (multiplier) (Includes a video about how to plant and use these. These are really neat, because every time that you pull an onion up, you can replant one or two, so that your onion supply continues to grow throughout the year.)
