Our whole family loves this healthy air fryer recipe for dinner!

Salmon Mixture:
- 2 – 6 oz. cans of boneless skinless salmon
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. quick oats
- 1/4 c. avocado oil mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. unrefined sea salt (Use the code kitchenstewardship for 15% off of your first purchase)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. dried dillweed
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
Coating:
- 1/2 c. sorghum or brown rice flour
- 1/4 tsp. unrefined sea salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried dillweed
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
Instructions
- In a medium-size bowl mix the salmon mixture ingredients until well-combined.
- In a small bowl mix the coating ingredients.
- Scoop 2-3 Tbsp. of the salmon mixture and roll into a ball.
- Roll the ball in the coating mixture until thoroughly covered. Gently flatten into a pattie.
- Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.
- Heat the Air Fryer to 375-degrees F with the insert. Allow to heat for 3 minutes.
- Remove the basket and place as many salmon patties that will fit on the insert.
- Insert the basket and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the salmon patties and cook for another 4 minutes. Transfer to a serving dish.
- Repeat until all of the salmon cakes are cooked.
- Serve immediately with tartar sauce, mayonnaise, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
You can easily scale this recipe for a larger batch. Each 6 oz. can of salmon makes about 6 salmon cakes.
