The perfect, easy-peel, hard-boiled eggs every single time!


  • 812 eggs
  • 1 cup of Water


  1. Put a cup of water in the Instant Pot plus the steamer insert, trivet, or egg trivet.
  2. Set eggs in the insert.
  3. Set the Instant Pot for Manual, 4 minutes on high, or 6 minutes on low.
  4. When the pot beeps that it’s done, open the pressure valve to release the steam.
  5. It takes about 10 minutes to get up to pressure, then about 1 minute to release the pressure.
  6. Cool in the fridge or eat warm. (If you want to peel right away, douse in cold water so you can touch them.)
