- 1 Tbs. coconut oil
- 1/3 c. popping corn kernels
- salt, to taste
- In a medium pot with lid, melt 1-2 TB of coconut oil (or desired oil) over medium heat.
- Pour in enough popping corn kernels to cover the bottom of the pot in a single layer.
- Salt lightly.
- PUT THE LID ON. You only forget this step once.
- Gently shake the pot every 20-30 seconds until the kernels stop or slow down popping. Remove from heat.
- Shake salt (or other desired topping), stirring to incorporate.
