This is one I especially love in the spring and summer after spending time outside.
It has such a refreshing citrus scent and gives my skin a little extra TLC when it’s feeling dry.
Really any moisturizing oil from Annmarie gets a hearty recommendations; it’s up to each person to try a few and determine favorite scents and side benefits beyond “moisturize.”
Aloe Herb Cleanser
I admit I’m not perfect about washing my face every night…
(I know, I know!)

My Honest Bottom Line
You know I always tell you the truth.
I don’t love every product Annmarie makes.
Their facial skincare? Absolutely.
Their shampoo and conditioner? Not my favorites.
Their sunscreen? I wasn’t impressed with the current formulation, although I really loved an earlier tinted version years ago.
I think honesty matters, especially when I’m recommending products to this community.
The facial products are where Annmarie truly shines, and those are what I continue purchasing myself.

After using Annmarie for years, one day a longtime reader and Catholic alerted me to something: The “process” page shares that crystals are part of the formula:
“These botanical infusions are left to steep for up to 30 days and energized by crystals before serving as a potent base for all our formulas.”
You can probably look at this a few ways:
- Excited because you love crystals and energy healing.
- Dismayed because you believe evil works through anything not from God (the reader’s take).
- Confused because should it matter what happens to your facial oils if you don’t believe alternative healing methods have power over you?
My own priest said that it didn’t sound like anything to worry about, that an object couldn’t have power over me (actual demonic possession not included).
I’m always a big fan of 100% transparency however, and your own well-formed conscience should be the judge. Admittedly, I would rather support companies who share my values (at least if they’re going to include that as part of their public platform), which is why I’m poking into Rowe Casa.
Should You Try Annmarie?
If you’re looking for inexpensive skincare, Annmarie probably isn’t where I’d start.
If you’re looking for exceptionally high-quality facial skincare made with wildcrafted herbs, unique botanicals, and ingredients you couldn’t realistically blend together yourself, they’re absolutely worth a look.
