Scent: Everyone in the family loves the way this smells. So yummy!

Ease of Application: + TropicSport rubs in really smoothly and is a pleasure to use.

Water Resistance: According to their site, they have passed the U.S. FDA 80-minute resistance test as well as the Australian 240-minute one!

My Experience: We definitely saw this brand be effective in the sun to protect from burns. We used it extensively all summer, but we were so busy we didn’t take very many notes.

Star Feature: Beyond TropicSport’s exceptional rubbing-in ability, I would say their travel size is such a cute container and even comes with a carabiner. So if you are doing something like whitewater rafting, where you really want to keep your sunscreen attached on you or on a bag and not lost, this is such a fun and unique container to use.

My Review: The whole family was impressed with how well TropicSport rubs in and the cute little container. We called it the turtle sunscreen all summer and many of us would gravitate toward it. I would definitely recommend this brand, although because of the titanium dioxide and “fragrance” I can’t put it in the top tier. “Fragrance” without any explanation is a problem, because 1000s of ingredients can be hidden under there, so it’s just kind of a red flag that the brand *may* not be being forthright in all disclosures. Bummer!
