Mental Mission: Are You Afraid of Fat?

September 22nd, 2009 · 20 Comments · Fat Full Fall

This week kicks off the latest seasonal theme-y series at Kitchen Stewardship:  A Fat Full Fall. Here are some questions to get you thinking about what is to come:

  • When someone says the word “fat” what images come to your mind?
  • Do you eat “Fat Free” or “Low Fat” foods?
  • Do you know the difference nutritionally between saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fats?
  • Do you read labels for fat?
  • Do you count grams of fat in a day?
  • When choosing a meal, do you take the amount of fat in the food into consideration?
  • Is fat good for you or dangerous for your health?
  • Are you afraid of fat?

We’ll cover all this and more during A Fat Full Fall here at KS.  Join us!
