This week kicks off the latest seasonal theme-y series at Kitchen Stewardship: A Fat Full Fall. Here are some questions to get you thinking about what is to come:
- When someone says the word “fat” what images come to your mind?
- Do you eat “Fat Free” or “Low Fat” foods?
- Do you know the difference nutritionally between saturated, polyunsaturated, and monounsaturated fats?
- Do you read labels for fat?
- Do you count grams of fat in a day?
- When choosing a meal, do you take the amount of fat in the food into consideration?
- Is fat good for you or dangerous for your health?
- Are you afraid of fat?
We’ll cover all this and more during A Fat Full Fall here at KS. Join us!

I like the first one. I prefer seeing the “real” fats, rather than the processed ones. That’s just me.

I like the first one the best. I think it has the most impact and I also agree with Barb about not seeing Crisco and lite foods next to the real fats.

My vote goes to the first pic. It has a good impact.
I don’t really think or even know too much about fats, will be interesting to learn.
